It really depends on what system you have. But here are a couple favorites of mine:
For the gamecube you GOTTA play "Eternal Darkness"
For the PS2 make sure you play "Beyond good and Evil" a very good game and simple too
For the Xbox play "Warriors" and for the Xbox 360, play "Call fo Duty 2"

Halo, Halo 2, and Half-Life 2 are like THE best shooter games in the gaming industry!! (they're all on the Xbox, though, but they're STILL AWESOME!)
