There are none more powerful than Phoenix.
Cosmic cubes, Infinity Gems? Not so much... she (Jean Grey) can't be killed (for long)... She has "died" and come back like 5 times, but the Galaxy spanning Phoenix Force that grants Jean signifcantly greater power has always brought her back eventually.

Phoenix Force is definately immortal, after the most recent Big Bang it was Phoenix who saved Galactus.

The only thing that truly beat the Phoenix was itself. Each time Jean has killed herself, allowed others to kill her(although in both cases only the body apeared to have died, the Phoenix force brought her back), or she submited and retreated.

Phoenix has telekinetic powers so vast she is able to alter the atomic structure of almost anything, making her able to do anything she thinks of. Also keep in mind that Phoenix eats stars to increase its energy, so any of the abstract entities, such as Eternity, Infinty, Death, etc., and possibly Living Tribunal (although I think it is a distinct possibilty that Phoenix could be one of these entities, though it has never been identified as one) could be defeated if it were to eat enough stars. It was able to kill more than five billion aliens in a matter of seconds by eating the star in their solar system.

What we learned of Phoenix in Phoenix: Endsong
The Phoenix considers itself life incarnate, and in the past, what Phoenix wants, Phoenix gets. It was able to not only able to bring Jean Grey (who it identified with as being a lost part of itself) it was able to bring back one of the Cuckoo sisters, whom it had never closely associated itself with before, and brought her back easily, showing its vast abilities concerning life and death.
It's powers are in fact infinate, so if you break it, even then, what's a fraction of infinity?

MOST IMPORTANT:
if nothing else read this:
As Pslocke once joked to Rachel Summers during House of M- "Does EVERYTHING have to revolve around that bloody bird?!" After she learned that the two of them were sent to the core of creation known as "The White Hot Room," which is in fact the heart of the Phoenix.

There you go- the heart of the Phoenix is the core of creation. It was in Uncanny X-men #462. I have the issue, and I'll try to post it to help prove my point, but if your heart is also the core of creation, can anything be greater?

Look for more later I usually will add more later.

The Beyonder or Galactus. They both seem more powerful than the Dark Phoenix.

the living tribunal for one is way more power full, ummm maybe infinity and death, possible galactus at full power but hes never at full power and probably never will be opps forgot the why, well the living tribunal because he is pretty much considers the god of the whole marvel universe and can even take out the omnipitance of the infinate gauntlent so he has supreme omnipitance, effinity and death because they are the key elements of the universe in which the phoenix is a part of, and last but not least galactus at full power, because he is the balance between effinity and death, and even effinity said that if he ever got to pull power he would be hard pressed to defeating or something like that

Anyone holding a Cosmic Cube or the Infinity Gems. Why? Because Phoenix, as powerful as she is, is only a mortal woman. And the aforementioned items were created by beings that are far above and beyond mortal inhibitions.

I am going to have to say that Thanos or Galactus would give the Dark Phoenix a run for her money. Thanos--He is very intelligent and would study his foe until he finds a weakness and exploit it. Not to mention that he is really powerful. Galactus--Another cosmic being, like the phoneix force, that devours worlds. He is extremely powerful and has a tremendous amout of cosmic energy. He creates cosmic beings for crying out loud.

Marvel? probly Full Powered Galactus could stand up to it.

If we mean other comics then first one that comes to mind is God Spawn, hes the God of Abrahamic mythology at one point, you cant really touch the level of power of the person who made everyone and everything (minus other gods), including it.

oh and lets not forget, Batman, Batman beats anyone. he would be the only character if allowed to prep that could beat it lol

The Beyonder. He just thought stuff, and it happened. He didn't go hungering after any suns either.

All of these omnipotent beings hurts Marvel's status, IMO. They dabble way too much w/ this stuff.

Don't kill me for this, but doesn't Franklin Richards have that reality manipulation thing going on? He could make her stop existing.
