Do you have vision problems? If so, I highly recommend SOFT contacts. Hard contacts are expensive and harder to take care of (cleaning...etc.). Soft lenses are more wearable, won't pop out from your eye, and they are less drying too. I recommend contact over glasses no matter the occasion. Also, they are a little tricky in the beginning, and you got to make sure you clean them well (unless you wear the daily disposable ones) but it's really worth the effort. If you are thinking of wearing contacts just to alter your eye color...I don't recommend it. The colors never look natural. They always look fake to me!

Wearing contacts at first will feel funny, but you wear them for a little each day and before you know it, you wont know how you lived without them before. NO more wiping rain off your glasses, no more flog-gin when you go from hot to cold air, and being able to see when you swim and shave is so wonderful...LOL

I have soft and like that they bend with my eye, hard are concave to your eye, and several people I know have them with no problems. You eye doc can go over what is best for you. You might even like to change you eye color, or have cat or lizard eyes.

you'll do fine, go for it!

Yes. I prefer contacts to glasses anyday. Definitely soft lenses bc they do not hurt! No after you get used to them you dont even know youre wearing them!

You should consult an eye doctor, because not everyone can wear contacts-especially if you have eye conditions like astigmatism.
