DO dress somewhat comfortably (think comfy shoes, no spike heels)
DO dress somewhat conservatively (No V-neck shirts, spaghetti straps, hooker skirts :) )
DO look at the type of job you are applying for then decide on level of career style to shoot for Ex. retail, office (not lawyers or administrators) think fitted knee length skirt, cute(but conservative) top, and mid level heels.
DO fix your hair and wear appropriate makeup
DO NOT WEAR spike heels, skirts more than two inches above knee, V-necks or cleavage bearing shirts, lots of makeup, jeans, leather pants, tennis shoes, any facial piercings (trust me just take them out), T-shirts, etc.

DO: shower that morning
DO: wash your hair
DO: brush your teeth
DO: wear a conservative looking outfit (pantsuit or skirted suit and blouse)
DO: wear proper undergarments (bra, panties, garter belt* and stockings)
DO: wear sensible shoes with closed toes
DO: wear light make-up if needed
DO: wear a light-scented fragrance if desired
DO NOT: wear a mini skirt and tank-top
DO NOT: wear flip-flops
DO NOT: wear heavy make-up
DO NOT: wear a heavy perfume or other scent such as patchouli
DO NOT: be late
DO NOT: wear a suit without a blouse (boobs directly under suit jacket...this is sexy, but not very business-like)
* and no, a garter-belt is not slutty or kinky...it is a classic, as this is what our moms and grandmoms wore before panti-hose were available)

Doesn't matter all that much. If the interviewer is a male, the one with the biggest boobs will always get the job.

Think about how the people currently working there dress and use that as a guideline. If the atmosphere is casual dress business casual and if it's professional do wear a suit.

I think what you were depends on what the job is your applying for. If your going for executive position a suit but if your going for a 711 clerk or car wash attendant then just about anything, with in reason.

All I can say that I didn't notice mentioned yet is it is NEVER okay to wear jeans to an interview.

Dress conservatively.
Think Republican banker at a New England church social.
Grey, blue or black. No dangly earrings, or visible tatoos.

maybe a black skirt that goes down to your knees, with a simple tee, with some jewelry
