call in to work today? I'm putting in my 2 week notice Thursday and I already have a great, new job set up. I'm just sick of the current job. What do you think? Should I tuff it out today or just call in?

You should go in to work and continue to work as just before. Although you have a great job lined up you always want to leave a good impression. What happens when you are up for a promotion at this new job and they call your old job for reference? You want to make sure they only have good things to say.

I think you may want to give your current employer the same courtesy as if you did not have a new job pending... reason being... one day you might want to look for ANOTHER job and if you leave on bad terms you won't be able to use your current employer as a reference..... Congrats on your new job by the way!

You will feel better about yourself if you fulfill your commitment of two weeks.

Just keep remembering that you won't have to go back there, ever...
