Always depends on your area and growing seasons. Cooperative Extension office in your area will have the best suggestions for what veg & try growing vertically. Check out the foodforeveryone.org website. After trying this method, it made a believer out of me. I work 30 mins a day on 240' of garden and get more out of it than any other method I've tried (which is MANY).

Growing vegetables can be tricky...with all the pests you encounter. Go to your local horticulture store they sell special foods that allow you to grow any veg or fruit perfectly and easily. Any kind of cucumber, squash, Mellon's are really easy. They have different kinds that are exotic that would sell better. Just look on the shelve at the grocery store and look at the prices.

Squash and eggplant nearly grow themselves. Also, heirloom tomatoes are pretty rare at markets and would probably fetch a pretty penny!

If you have the right type of soil and climate, and if you're mainly interested in profit, try growing ginseng.
