I have an msoControlEdit which I need to fix the text typed into it in Excel 2000?

Excel 2000 (Using VBA) :

I have an msoControlEdit which I need to fixthe text typed into it. When I type the text and press my OK button the text I typed in the msoControlEdit vanished.

I noticed it can be achieved by pressing enter/tab, but is there a way to fix the text immediately? Also can it be made to look like a password field?

Are you developing vb forms in Excel macro? If so, what are the ramifications of this?

immediate Enter is the best common method u can also achieve by clicking out side the control
