I'm interested in researching publicly-traded companies whose philosophy and products encourages freedom. Any resources I could use?

There are thousands of public companies and I dread having to reinvent the wheel by researching every single one of them if there already is a white paper, website or index already out there for this purpose.

Any suggestions?

I'm toying with starting an investment club or even a mutual fund (!) that would invest in companies whose practices, philosophy, philanthropy, products or services would enhance freedom.

I'd be skeptical of the previous writer's claim to own their own NYSE-traded business. By definition, a publicly traded company is owned by the stockholders. While the answerer may have a controlling share in a NYSE company, they do not OWN it. At any rate, your best bet might be to look for a mutual fund or ETF that holds these types of companies.

Hope this helps!

I am confused by what you are asking. I own my own business who is publicaly traded on the NYSE. It provides people a great service, and offers people who take the business opportnity the chance to be financially free, but I am not sure if that is what you are asking.
