I have been a Certified Tannning Specialist for over 2 years and know my fair share about tanning in general. Tanning Hasnt been proved to improve any acne but in some cases it all depends on your skin. There is no doubt that tanning is dangerous if you over do it....taking it slow and only going in moderation is definlty okay. There is this misconception that if you lay in a taninng bed you will get skin cancer, the fact is that skin cancer comes from a variety of issues including family history, ethnicity, and even the loction in which you have been raised. So, Yes if you are going to tan, dont overdo it and defintly use a high quality tanning lotion...they are now making lotions in with actually have alot of sunless ingredents as well and antioxidants and anti-aging properties. Some of these lotion, when used regularly actually help reverse sun damage. But tan in moderation and talk to your dermatolgist about the acne.

Tanning from the sun is beneficial. Tanning in a salon...is not.

The sun emits vitamin D, which helps prevent against colon cancer. So just know that when you get older, you can laugh at all the women who went to tanning salons and have intestinal problems while you don't.

Tanning helps with acne, yes. Because the skin is being dried up. Just don't stay out too long or you'll get too dried up and have dry skin. I also find that after I tan (moderately) my pores look a lot smaller and my face looks toned. Just make sure you use a light moisturizer after you wash your face to keep it soft, and one with an SPF in it while in the sun.

i do no longer decide directly to be a buzz kill... yet there somewhat are no advantages to tanning different than the undeniable fact which you look tan. A "tan" is somewhat actual information that your epidermis has been broken... no count number in case you burn first or no longer. A tan is the physique's way of conserving itself by utilising producing greater melanin (which makes us darker) - so once you spot darker epidermis, it means your physique is "under attack" from the solar and that's not at all a solid ingredient. in case you decide on coloration, positioned money right into a solid sunless tanner. St. Tropez is a very good one, as is the Hempz sort slow tanning lotion. have confidence me, down the line you would be chuffed in case you desperate to no longer tan... Sundamage is a bad ingredient and motives no longer in hassle-free terms epidermis maximum cancers yet in addition age spots and wrinkles. the only income of solar publicity is the undeniable fact that it produces diet D contained in the physique, for which i could basically advise eating milk and taking a D supplement.

the only reason it helps acne is because the oil is dried up, however, it will come back even worse within a short period of time because your skin will make up for being dry by producing even more oil. So use moturizer after tanning

The only reason that it may help your metabolism or acne is bc it makes you sweat, you could get that in a sauna, without the possible consequences of sun damage and skin cancer.

there are no benefits....unless you consider a heightened risk of skin cancer to be beneficial....

avoid using sun-based/radiation-based tanning methods....if you MUST be tan, there are many sunless tanning products out there...just try them in turn until you find one that you like and works for you.

no, none of that is true. actually the only positive thing it gives you is a temporary tan. but in the long run it only hurts your skin, makes you age faster, and increases your risk of skin cancer.
