I try to have a sit down dinner with everyone at least once a week. Usually Sunday dinner is it. That is the best part of my day, getting to sit down over a meal and talk to my family.

My brothers and sister moved out of our parents house now. Well, my brother moved back in cause of a divorce. Most of us still go there quite often.
My mother is from Mexico and she cooks amazing food from around the world. It's all comfort food really, but the way she makes it is just wonderful. When we go there, we all sit down and have dinner together. Sometimes when she wants to make something on the grill we will all pitch in, but usually she makes things that she likes to handle on her own. I think she likes to here the guys watch tv together and chat. It's her comfort.
yeah, my memories of family dinners are great. I'd say we eat together once or twice a month.

during the school year - then breakfast for everyone and of course dinner and over the weekend all the meals - everyone loves to sit and eat but the clean up time is a hassle
in the summer time we eat together only on the weekend for all the meals

We get together very often with my family. It's those warm moments that make me feel happy. We sit down for dinner, in holidays, in Sunday's afternoon and generally when we have time. It's nice to spend some time with your family...I believe that they are the only persons in the world that will love me no matter what I do, no matter who I am!

I always have a wonderful meal for my family at supper time and its everyday that we sit down together to enjoy it! it gets a little hectic and stressful though I have 4 kids and they are always talking and needing help cutting up stuff so it gets stressful most of the time but at least we do get together for a sit down meal every day!

well, since my mom and dad are divorced, we don't really have a "family" meal. but when we're (my brothers and me) with my mom, we have a rule: we always have to eat breakfast together. to see each other and say good morning. we usually all have lunch together as well.
but on sundays, my grandparent's have a bbq and the WHOLE family comes and we eat together. it's cool because i get to see my aunts and uncles and cousins.
