It's in Africa...
The Middle East is not a continent, but a region... a loosely defined term for the historical and cultural subregion of Africa-Eurasia traditionally held to be countries or regions in Southwest Asia together with Egypt. In other contexts, the region can include other parts of North Africa and/or Central Asia.

Egypt is in North Africa, on the continent of Africa, but is considered a Middle Eastern country. It's separated from Israel and the Gaza Strip by the Red Sea. Its ties are historically not so much with Africa but with the Middle East.

Yes, Africa is in Egypt. It is located in the northeast of the continent. It is considered to be part of the Middle East because it is very close geographically to the Middle East and has a largely Islamic population. I'll add a pretty decent map to my sources so that you can better acquaint yourself with the geography.

Yes Egypt is in Africa and the Middle East.
It is the part Africa that connects Africa to the Asian Continent, and politically it is more in line with the Middle East so it is often considered part of the Middle East.
Africa is a continent with set boundaries; the Mid-east is a region with loosely defined borders, so it is possible to be in both Africa and the Mid-East

Egypt (Arabic: مصر, romanized Misr, officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a Middle Eastern country in North Africa. While the country is geographically situated in Africa, the Sinai Peninsula, east of the Suez Canal, is a land bridge to Asia.

The middle east is an area that should probably just be known as Western Asia... and this includes countries like Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc.

It's both. Middle East is a *region*, and Africa is a *continent*. Thus, Egypt is a middle-eastern country located in North Africa :)

Yes, it is in Northern Africa. Just google it and look at the map. Some confusion may arise because most folks in Egypt are not black; they are Arabs. Furthermore, they're deeply involved in the conflicts in the Middle East. Happy researching!
