I am a Christian, and neither are true for me. What does this have to do with politics, anyway?

Answerman is all KINDS of wrong. Only in the missionary position? Only once a month? LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
If that's the standard Christians are supposed to be held to, I'm failing miserably!

It goes back to a mistake in an ancient manuscript....
You see doctrine was copied by hand for hundreds of years from manuscripts that were copied from origionals. It still is copied by hand in some areas. Recently in Rome one of the new monks working in the Vatican library asked the head Cardinal what would have happened if someone copied a letter wrong, then doctrine would be wrong for hundreds of years! So the Cardinal and the monk went to eh vault and bagen to look over many of the mauscripts. As I read it, the monk found the Cardinal banging his head against the wall crying and in a fitful rage. When the monk approached the Cardinal he heard him repeating the phrase, "We forgot the r, we forgot the r, we forgot the r" The monk said, "What do you mean father?" The Cardinal replied, "It was celebrate!"
Now I don't know if that actually happened or not, but it makes a good story.

It is not just the Christians, that is part of all organized religions and it speaks to the religions being the justification of the states decision to use war as a tool while eliminating the guilt of sending people to kill one another.

Because the Bible is explicit about violent actions, but doesn't go into details about sexual activity. So it's an unknown.
