They talk of scrubbers, anyone know where to look online ?

The air gets recirculated and purified. Lithium hydroxide in canister absorb the CO2, and activated charcoal takes care of removing other impurities. Compressed oxygen tanks supply fresh oxygen to replace that has been consumed (turned into CO2 that was fixed by the CO2 scrubbers).

They don't get fresh air. They are supplied with oxygen on a regular basis, but the scrubbers that you mention are like activated charcoal
filters that remove CO2 from the air. In the fire fighter equipment they have a system called a 're breather' that is basically the same thing. You are basically re breathing the same air.

they do recirculate the air with some sort of carbon scrubber othe than actually carrying air tanks
