after reading the first four answers, i decided to add up some details..

actually, this is how it actually goes. i am a member of a dance group in our university, so i am considered a varsity. that means, every school day,m we have strenuous trainings. that would make me tired somehow and make me ditch classes sometimes. sometimes, im excited to have trainings, so i skip my class before training just to be there at the studio on time. its just so hard, you know. i hope to be helped after this.

Yes, some of your general ed credits will be boring. But if you're already in your major classes and they're boring you to death, perhaps you're in the wrong major. I was an English major and found my classes wonderfully insightful and great to go to. Had I tried to be a business major, I'm sure that wouldn't have been the case. You may want to reevaluate your course of study if the classes are so dreadfully boring!

Like all of the time.

It's tough, but you really just need to keep in mind that you're going to college to get a degree and better your life. Try and remain focused on your goal. Many classes are boring, but you can make it if you just stay focused and avoid ditching class.

You'll be fine. You're not alone...in fact, I'd say most college students find every class to be boring! Some are more boring than others, too! Try and sign-up for at least one class you think you might enjoy That will help.

Get a medical exam to exclude any physical condition that could make being on the dance team and attending school mutually exclusive.
Yes, attending classes was boring/exhausting to me, that's why I am in an on-line college degree program.

Your education is more important than dance. If you're ditching classes because of dance, you need to scale back the amount of time on dance and focus more on school. It's obcvious you're going to quit school with an attitude like that.

Admittedly, some classes bore me. In fact, if I didn't have my laptop to work behind-the-scenes with sometimes, I'd have fallen asleep in some of my classroom sessions!

However, boring as it may get, it's no excuse to blow off the work assigned (in OR out of class). Your professors/teachers are your benefactors, working to provide you with a broad base of knowledge and a future, and ditching classes, cheating, etc. are a sign of betraying those benefits.

Almost everyone feels bored going to class...that's why I slept through most of them. If there's no attendance policy and you can learn the material w/o going then don't go.

I dropped out my sophomore year because of laziness and boredom. I can't really give you any advice to get motivated -- but I can tell you you'll most likely regret it if you drop out. I would have graduated last year -- and as my friends graduate, I think, wow, I'm a loser.
