Adamantium is the metal but i also thought that the process to use it was Lady Deathstrikes father at this time don't remember the name but yes.

I think Lady Deathstrike's dad discovered the way to bond adamantium to bone. That's why she hates Wolverine so much cause she thinks Wolverine stole and used the technology her dad came up with for himself.
