I feel very safe in my neighborhood (it's mostly gated and very quiet), but even in the city I'm fine. I wouldn't go into some of the areas downtown at night or alone, but it's still not that bad.

I live in Logan, Utah. It is a small town (80,000 pop.) Personally I never feel quite safe (issues from living in Phoenix) but this town is the best. Once I left for the weekend and i forgot to lock the door (but did not know it) well, while i was gone the dorr blew open and stayed that way for 3 days!!! When i got home i panacked! But TV, stereo, laptop and even other car were all there. I think that one of our nosey neighboors might have walked in but other then that nothing was touched. That would have never happend in Phoenix!!!!!!

Yes I feel safe,but at this moment no place is safe on this world ,so long you are alive get going and try to enjoy the life.

Yes, but old habits are hard to break or lose. I'm always aware of where I am in relation to cover, avenues of escape, potential weapons, flow of traffic, etc...I don't dwell on these, mind you, they operate on a subconscious level.

Extremely. Often I leave car doors unlocked at night and even the house doors. My kids walk freely to and from the school and shopping center. It is one of the main reasons we moved here.

no, I don't, because I live near a jail. I am always scared that someone will get away from the jail and come staight to our door.
