I bought a new laptop and was wondering if there was a way to use my old lcd 15'' as a tv. The computer froze up but can i remove the screen and rewire it to be a monitor or tv for my bathroom wall???
There must be a way to recycle a very good LCD screen.

Unfortunately, from what I've read that would take a lot of work. You would need to get a power inverter that would match up the AC with the laptop monitor power, plus you would have to do something to change the signal to the correct type so it would display the right image.

If the software is froze up, try reinstalling Windows, if the laptop is dead, you could try selling the lcd as a part on Ebay.

That would take a lot of technical knowledge.
