Yesterday I read from a Republican:
"...that babykilling queer from Boston looser John Kerry".
Yikes!
Couldn't even spell "loser".Sounds LIKE a loser.
I know there are pro-choice Republicans.Do they ignore anti-choice rhetoric or do they have any plan to express their beiefs in freedom within their party?
Also, how many of them have to roll their eyes when they hear think-tank created catch phrases like "respect for life" or "culture of life"?

I went to pick up some birth control one day, and the anti-choice were picketing outside. They ran right up to me and shouted baby killer right in my face (although I was there to prevent an unwanted pregnancy). I got my stuff, left, and realized I left my wallet. When I walked back through them a second time, I proclaimed " I'm back for another one!" The couldn't believe I said it, and they just shut right up. I think when I have a child, I will walk through them and try and hand the baby to someone, just to see if they would take it! Drastic times call for drastic measures!

I wouldn't say that there are no obvious idiots in the Republican party. But, Republicans are overwhelmingly into thoughtful and civil discussion of the issues of the day.
If you want to find hate and name calling you have to look at the left wing fringe if the Democratic party.

I call out both the hateful Democrats AND the hateful Republicans. I don't think it's right to call John Kerry names like that, even though I personally can't stand the guy's politics.
Republicans who do that are just as bad as any Democrat who calls President Bush names.
Neither bring anything productive to the table.
The way I look at it is, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. People like that are part of the problem.
As far as being anti-abortion, I am extremely so. But even though I've participated in protests, they have never been the vocal kind. If they were, I would leave. I refuse to have anything to do with that BS.

The issue of abortion within the Republican party is quite diverse. In fact I'd say the party might be equally divided on the subject. While I believe life should not be aborted I also don't believe its my choice - its a families choice along with their doctor - not mine. I don't view it as a political issue but a personal one. I saw a group from a church walk out of a Young Republicans volleyball tournament once because the team they were going to play was from a candidate that was pro choice. We called them "johnny one notes" meaning the only issue that mattered to them was abortion and they'd rather a pro choice democrat win the election then a pro choice Republican...sad.
Those who call names and such are very few and pretty much disdained within the republican party. We don't care for such radicals. I'm beginning to think the Republicans are more tolerant then democrats now days.

Especially when their definition of "respect for life" means they make some one have a child, but then spend the rest of their life bashing them for having it! Some sick people out there!
Just the phrase "pro-life"! They are not pro life at all, they are anti abortion and against other people to have any rights in a very personal decision which are made for many reasons, to include saving a mother's life!
They think they are God! They aren't, and none of them have met him yet! They should be more concerned with their souls and let other people deal with their own!

The Republican Party needs to take back it's own party from the far right just as the Democrats need to take back their party from the far left.
As to posters here saying such things, I try not to give people like them much slack. They are paid puppets working from a 'catch-phrase' script. You can pretty much tell by now who they are.

Who cares. If they can't stand the heat, maybe they shouldn't be in the kitchen.
