I use it to connect to the servers here at work, you just browse for the computer you'd like to connect to, and hit connect. If you're looking to use it outside of a network setting I'm not really sure what you do. But there are other programs you can use for that. Symantec PC Anywhere works well (I use it when I'm at home) and there's also GOTO MyPC.

How to do it
First You need to get internet acsess than you need to connect the internet acsess to the router (I recomend linksyss) you might also have a connection piece I recomend a USB port (easy to install)
than insert the CD and follow the directions as said on the direction packet (oh and by the way make up your own connection and stick to it all the time)
other info U can buy the router and stuff online or at Frys, Best Buy & circut City

Where do you go wrong with the instructions from Windows Help and Support?
Remember that the host computer needs to be accessable from the client (not behind a firewall)
