i don't think so. I believed that the you should be at least 14 to be on myspace. When you put that you are 14 to 16 your account is blocked to other people. also people cannot comment on your page unless you befriend them. You have to be a real idiot to go out with somebody from myspace.

No Myspace does not pose a risk to minors. Bad parenting does. If you don't know what your kid is up to on the Internet then you should. Parents need to take responsibility for their children. It's not a socializing website like Myspaces problem.

Risky activity poses a risk to minors. MySpace is no more dangerous than the rest of the internet; it's just really popular right now. But there's nothing inherently evil or dangerous about MySpace. Kids just need to learn that anything they post online isn't private, and parents need to pay attention to what their kids are doing when they're online.

Does the INTERNET pose a risk to minors? Absolutely! Myspace even moreso! It opens the door for pedophiles and perverts and children are too naive to know better! The only GOOD protection is a responsible parent!

Yes alot of sexual predators stalk myspace unfortunatley :(
minors give their personal information liberally and pay the
price for it.

The Internet has alot of nice people but it also has alot of bad people who aren't what they seem fake profiles, fake pictures, age everything can be a lie the sad thing is people are too eager to trust and get taken even adults make mistakes and pay with their lives or get raped and assaulted.

For the pretty ignorant minors... but so does driving, walking down the street, ect.

They shouldn't give out so much info.
True there are sickos out there who can find you with the tiniest amount of information, but someone could kidnap these kids from the sidewalk. Technology is a big part of our civilization now, responsibilities come with every advance.

EVERY social networking site poses a problem to minors, except those which are heavily moderated with systems in place to trace sexual predators.

myspace is only more dangerous because it is so popular and hence more attractive to people looking to contact minors.

absolutely, especially if the minor's parent isn't involved with their internet life.

The internet itself is a risk to minors without good parental supervision and advice.
