Happened with two parties and gave a lame excuse for one of them.

Don't associate with them as much and don't invite them anymore. They are probably not interest. Or they ar the type of person that will stand you up if something better comes along.

If its a guy your interested in, I would have to say he's not into you so dont wait around. If its a friend, they had better plans so they choose the other. Not really the best kind of friend to have.

promises are to be kept and if they can't keep them then they need to be eliminated from further promises if they promise something say i'll believe it when i see it
