can nicotine patches kill you if over-used?

anything can kill you if you "over-use" it....we had a guy call for an ambulance cause he kept putting the patches on without takin the other ones off. he almost died

I dont think the patches themselves can kill you. Of you use them as per instructions but I was told by my doctor that if you use the patches and carry on smoking you can have a heart attack due to a nicotine overdose. But that was when the patches first came out in the early 90s, they may have changed since then though.

Yeh they can, if you are using patches and then smoke you can overdose on nicotine, so the same can happen with too many patches.

or just make you very very sick, like, end up in the hospital sick. Nicotine is a dangerous drug and should never be over used, that's why you're only supposed to use one at a time.

When I tried to stop smoking using patches, I lit a cigarette and my nose started bleeding ten minutes later. So yes I think it can be dangerous, but to kill ? Don't know.

Depends how many you use and how you use them... If you stuck them over your nostrils and your mouth which would result in insufficient respiratory effort then yeah I suppose they would
