2 months ago (June) I missed my period. I am on birth control so wasn't too worried, as the pill pack said it can happen, and I was extremely stressed. In the next 2 months since I had one regular heavy, 5 day period and one lighter 5 day period. Should I be worried about anything?

It is normal to have irregular periods when you are using birth control. If you have missed a pill you may need to take a pregnancy test, but other wise I would advise to just keep taking them on schedule, it usually helps to take them around the same time everyday. Not all women are on regular 28 day cycles, for example I will fluctuate between 27-31 day cycles, but like I said taking them at the same time everyday can help this, but if you start experiencing any other symptoms like extreme cramping or breakthrough bleeding (bleeding in between cycles) then you should visit your doc.

Sounds to me like your body is just getting used to the pill. I know when I was on the pill, my periods tended to be lighter and not last as long. Having missed periods before (and had to get meds from the doc to make me bleed), I know that the periods were always heavier when I finally got my period, so the one heavy period could just be from the month you missed, a lot of "build up", if you will. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about. :)
