Employers don't check degrees, and besides who would bother checking degrees let alone look at it. What employers look for is what the person has to offer to the organsiation, the certificate that they are given are thrown in the bin. Fake degrees won't do good to the guy unless he comes up scripted answers to give to the employer.

They examine bro. they preserve it extremely is rather useful actually have a level from an accepted college. they have had their elementary share of frauds, and that's basically between the forms of companies that do examine those forms of issues. if your clever such as you say, p.c.. a Bachelor's degree off a itemizing which you think of you have the main expertise approximately, and bypass positioned it on your resume. maximum jobs do no longer, and don't have a trend of, checking in case you extremely have a level or no longer. by utilising all propose's you may goto Japan and flourish faking having a level, yet you will no longer be waiting up by using one in all those english coaching agencies.

Yep -they CAN check if they want too by using the cert issue number on the origional certificate. this will tie it back to the education boards and relevant institutes ie city & guilds etc.
As an employer i have never checked any of my employees certs (maybe i should) as most people get found out fairly quickly by not being able to do the job.
For those that survive; then maybe they are good enough to do the job anyway.
Remember --qualifications do not make you clever. they are merely a means of showing people that you have the ability to learn and use information ! some of the smartest bussiness men and people have no qualifications what so ever.
as for your predicament - it shows your dedication to achieve and abilty to learn - both of which are highly regarded in any job
Good luck and well done !

Your friend risked a lot - and still does, when he gets found out. He sincerely doesn't have the qualifications for the job and this will come out while he tries to perform his duties. Think of it - an investigation, a firing, perhaps being sued or going to jail depending on the kind of job he's in - it surely isn't worth the stupidity of buying a fake degree.
Good luck with your REAL education.

It's a wide-mazed net, if you look halfway decent in a tie and/or the job is cushy enough the company may consider no one would dàre pull a stunt like that and just not bother to check. He will get found out at some point if he fails to do the job, which considering he never studied for it is a good possibility.
You may want to anonymously tip them off... it's unfair and he should not get away with it.

There are so many things wrong with your last sentence.
1) Many employers (especially larger companies) will check a potential employee's educational background. It's normally a simple fax to a school's registrar's office.
2) College isn't just 4 years for a sheepskin. It should be 4 years of learning and preparing yourself for your future job.
3) It's not only unethical to lie about your educational background, it's dumb. If it ever comes out that you lied you're facing immediate termination.,

Using an online degree can work sometimes, but it often comes back to bite you. Check the link below to read about 11 Georgia teachers who were found out to have used fake degrees to get pay raises. His fake degree might have gotten him this job, but what about when he wants to move to another employer. Or what if his current employer offers to promote him if he gets a graduate degree? Also, using a fake degree can sometimes get you charged with a crime. If you make a false representation of your credentials to get a job or raise, you might be commiting fraud.
Finally, if you wonder what you've been wasting time in college for, I wonder, too. You should have learned enough to know the value of actually going to college. If you didn't, then you might not have learned enough to justify your investment.

sure they work for a time...its going to catch up with your friend eventually though cause the work he's going to be doing he has no experience in and it will show. once it is found out he doesn't have the knowledge or experience than he will probably be fired and it won't be so easy to find another cushy job, also can you imagine living with that lie hanging over your head and the pressure of wondering when someone will fine out, because they will ?!you on the other hand not only have the experience but you have the good character of one who perseveres and accomplishes goals without resorting to cheating....pat yourself on the back for not only working hard but seeing it through cause you will go a lot farther than your friend. just remember the truth always comes out, always no matter how hard to try to hide it. good going and good luck ! p.s. i also wanted to say don't forget that all these years you've been in school you've been growing in other ways too...maturing, making bonds, forming relationships that your friend will never know and all that adds to who you are too...hang in there, finish your work and you will be rewarded for it.

The vast majority of employers DO check into your educational credentials. However, some don't, and your friend got lucky.
However, every time he applies for a job with another employer, he stands that risk of being caught.
