I geuss the people behind the contraption that is Yahoo! Answers think Liev Schreiber is the 'Perfect' human blue-print and so, have decided to use him for the inspiration behind the avatars.
I've been noticing how avatars resemble some people in reality - really plain looking people. Perhaps I need to stay off this Answers thing for a while....
