Why not make your own. Easy enough old coffee table brought from charity or second hand shop. A walk along the beach to collect the pebbles but first decide on the design to want to make and then collect the appropriate sized pebbles. Then prepare the table you can fix an upstand of wood round the table to accommodate the pebbles which you can fix with an epoxy resin glue or sink them into polyfilla or special craft plaster. Leave to dry and if so desired paint pebbles with a clear varnish, to give the impression of water

Paint wood with plain flat emulsion, before it drys run a stiff paint brush through the emulsion to give it the table a driftwood effect to compliment the pebbles.

Finish off with a piece of glass fixed securely to the top of the table i.e. the wooden plinth at the top of the table.

If you are unable to collect your own pebbles Pier has an excellent range of pebbles to choose from. A few shells scattered here and there might look good too.

If you can't find one make it yourself. Go the thrift stores or furniture closeout stores and purchase an inexpensive table you like the shape of. Then go to a home improvement store and look at the gravel/pebbles in their outside garden dept., if you find something you like one or two bags should be sufficient, then go inside to the flooring dept and ask which thinset material they recommend for your project and also get a grout that goes with your pebbles. You may also want to get some of the following items: sponges, 3 small buckets, a notched trowel for thinset and a soft trowel for the grout, enough 1x2 lumber to tack around the edge of your table to hold everything in, sealer if you want to seal the project when you are finished, sandpaper, and paint or stain for the legs. Then all you have to do is sand the top of your table so it is not smooth (60 grit sand paper) then spread the thinset across the top then start placing the pebbles (I'd place them rather than dumping them and trying to spread them so you may what to ask a friend or your children depending on their ages to help with this part of the project it will be much more fun with 2 or 3 people). Once all of the pebbles are in place allow it to dry at least overnight. Now you mix the grout and apply it to your pebble top. You will want to keep a sponge and bucket of water handy so you don't lose your pebbles under the grout. As the grout is drying you are ready to remove the wood from around the edge and fill in any spot that may need more grout. Wait several hours to overnight depending on the instructions on the grout bag then wipe the whole project down several times to ensure it is nice and clean. At this point you are ready to either begin using your new table or apply sealer to the surface (probably several thin coats) before you begin using. Also, depending on the color and condition of the table legs you may also need to work on them a bit. Good Luck

dont know where you can buy one but we made one for our allotment! we used a reclaimed cable reel which is free! and a colection of pebbles which are free! i know youre not supposed to take them from the beach but its ok if you just take one or two handfuls :) and cemented them on give them a coat or 2 of clear varnish brilliant
