I would try to do both. New York is full of would be models (LA is full of would be actors/actress) and the competition is fierce. If, for some reason, you don't make it, what are your options? Waiting tables, working in a factory... take college courses while pursuing your dream. A smart model is a rich model!

Better to go to College. Acting/Modelling are extremely hard to make a good living in and also require a certain amount of luck. Think about taking a course at college that may help you. While you may be a good actor when you get to college you will meet people who are probably better than you and give you a better perspective on your chances. I studied Theatre at College and of all the people to have passed through that particular course, considered one of the best in the UK, only 5 or six have made it professionally and they struggle financially.

There is no reason why you can't do both. Lots of people model their way through college. It pays the bills. Get a good agent who may get you some acting work as well and continue to take classes.

I think that u should try and do both. is that possiible? i dont know but if you can that would be the best. But if you have to choose get an education first, that will only take four years and it wil give u something to fall back on if the modelling/acting dosnt work out. Im sure ur pretty but honestly how many people actually make it?

take this advice from an aspiring actor to another...i took a professional acting course recently and i think its great to go for your dream but colege is way more important...the odds of you becomingg sucessful are low(unless you are willing to pay the price and commit yourself to it) you can become a better model/actor in college . colleges have great courses and college is waymore important than acting...Knolledge is the most important thing to have....use it wisly and i know you will make a good decision..and GOOD LUCK!!!

please go to college. you can always be a model. but there is the possibility that it won't work out, and you need a degree to get anywhere these days.
