how do i go by changing my doctor when i have insurances do i need my prmay doctors permishion to witch doctor i go see?

It depends onyour insurance. If you are in a plan that says you have to be with a specific provider than you need to choose another primary care physcian from that group. If you are in a plan with no restrictions than you can pick any doctor you want to and go to them.

Aesy just undress him!!! just kidding. Well you need to call first you insurance and tell them that you need to change your primary doctors and they will ask you the information for the new doctor and you need to give them all the information, so they can change your doctor. But you need to wait I think is a month before you go to your new doctor. Look luck!

if you have HMO insurance you need to call the insurance company and tell them why you want to change doctors
if you have PPO insurance then you just go see another doctor and do not have to let the insurance company know

Insurance policies vary.....call your insurance company and ask if you need to see your primary doctor and get him to refer you to a new doctor.

wow where are you!? There are so few doctors here in BC Canada accepting new people....as far as I know you can pick your own doctor but may have to pay for your files to be forwarded
