im 13. i am athletic short(5'11)and my breasts are a size 32A. im in 8th grade. when did urs come?

Heh, mine came when I was 13...

On Christmas Day!!

It lasted until New Years. It was the weirdest Christmas break of my whole life. I was sitting at the Christmas tree thinking, oh my gosh! Did I pee my pants last night? I went to the bathroom and my panties were all messed up. That's how I became a woman.

The next day at school:

I got a functioning reproductive system and some panties full of goo.

You should ask your mom and sisters if you have them. A lot of it is based on your genetics. It also depends on your body weight. If you have almost no fat on your body it might take longer for you to get your period. I got mine in sixth grade when i was 12 and my mom got hers around the same age. I had friends who were really small and thin and they didnt get their periods until they were 13/14 Also, you might mean 4'11" because 5'11" is gigantic.

It comes earlier for girls with more fat in their bodies, and it may be that you are still growing a bit, it usually signals the end of growth, so you may still be growing a bit. I was 13, but you really shouldn't worry too much about it. Some girls don't get it til 18, it is unlikely you will have to wait that long though. Try to relax and enjoy the fact that you haven't had to deal with it yet.

I got mine when I was 9, but that is early. My mom got hers when she was 11 and my sister got hers when she was 12. They weren't athletic though. If you are very athletic, you might not get your period until around 15 or 16. Usually, you get your period around the time your mom and sisters got theirs.
By the way, your height and breasts don't have much play into when you get your period.

it's different for every one, i got mine in 8th grade. there is no right or wrong time to get it. if you think that it should have already come, talk to you mom abou it. she can help you figure out a solution.

if the following things are happening, your period is close to coming:
there is a whitish discharge in your underpants
your brests are rapidly growing
your brests swell up and then deflate from day to day
you are having cramps in your lower stomach
you are PMSing(MOOD SWINGS!!!)

ask your mom when she had hers, most girls get it around the same time thier mom did... also, if you don't get it by the time you are 17 or 18... DEFINITELY TALK WITH UR MOM!!!

i got my period in the beginning of the sixth grade i guess i was about 12. it came and i didn't have a clue it was here i didn't feel nothing. i just remember seeing blood and being very scared because i did not know very much about stuff like that and i was a tomboy big time!! i didn't want nobody to know so my mom and sisters didn't find out that i Even had a period till i was like 15.

It can come anytime between 8 and 18. It is not that much fun so I wouldn't want it to come too early. Mine started when I was 10.

Girls are all different. We can reach puberty as early as 10 (on rare occassions, earlier) and sometimes as late as 16 (maybe later).

But most of us begin our period around 13-14 years of age.

the earliness or lateness of a girls period depends on alot of different factors such as diet, metabolism, the age your mom or sisters got theirs, height, weight, if your a smoker....it all depends on things like these...i got mine at 11 (i'm 21 now)...i also found out that sometimes pre-teen stress can also delay a period for some girls.
