So... I am best friends with a married couple and they have been having a lot of problems lately. I am in love with these people, platonically. The husband however seems to have taken more of an interest in me then "just friends". I really don't want anything to happen to my relationship with these people. They are both musicians, and tend to understand the world better through song. I am looking for the lyrics to a song that will help me let HIM know that, while I do care about him, I don't care about him like that. I'd like to keep it private - to prevent him from damaging his relationship with the wonderful woman he married. I'm sure that if given the opportunity they can work things out. And I don't want to be in the way or cause problems. I want to be able to be there if he OR she needs someone to talk to without his new feelings getting in the way. available, if they need me, to talk by phone only and I will not be comig tothier house for a while, so that they can be together. I feel like I have taken necessary steps to make sure that I'm not hurting anyone but I feel like I need to clarify myself to the husband. Please don't post hurtful answers... I am genuinely concernedfor these people.

Thank you for all of your answers so far, I have already told him no (FLAT OUT) but he keeps sending me flowers... I don't think he really understands and I think the song would help. We generally email each other different songs through out the day, depending on our moods. I think it might make more of an impact if I slid it in there, you know?
