Hey, im 13 and I play on a Division 2 Club Soccer Team (select). Our team should have moved up to Division 1 because we played so well, but they didn't let us. I used to play Division 3 but I switched teams last year. Anyway my friend and I are the best players on the team. I am pretty quick and my mile time was like 6:30. My shot is pretty accurate it just needs more power. I've got some good moves and I am going to a small High School. I have a goal at my house and I play on it atleast once or twice every week. My dream is to become a pro soccer player. How are my chances???

Since I have no ability to evaluate your talent, I can tell you to ask your coach to get video of your ability to colleges. I'm sure he can tell the talent you have and he will gladly continue to help you improve while trying to get you scholarship offers.

While playing professional early on may sound enticing, there are plenty of major universities that offer soccer scholarships that would allow you to get a FREE education while continuing to play. Unfortunately, less then 1% of kids that play sports as kids eventually play at some sort of professional level. Get your education WHILE you play and you be will set for life!

Give it your best shot, but go to school and get your education. Odds of becoming a pro athelete are against you. You also could get injured, so do not put all your eggs in one basket. Many colleges offer soccer scholarships. If you are that good, you should get one. Talk to your coaches and parents about this. Getting a free college education can be a wonderful thing. That doesn't mean that you may not make it as a pro, but you will not be able to play soccer forever, and an education will prepare you for your future, whether soccer is part of it or not! GOOD LUCK!

its gonna take more then 2x a week those practice like every day. and u should at least have someone to practice with passing, protecting the ball, and my fav shooting. i asked my dad the chances for the nba and nfl with me and he said. " honestly 1in a million. but that was the same 4 everybody including greats like MJ, peyton manning, ronaldo. so keep practicing but leave some room 4 life if u dont make it. GOOD LUCK!!!
