Israel was the victim and have been the victim for nearly 60 years. The land was an English Colony. After WWII, the English granted this land to all the Jews of the world in order to give them a land where they would not fall under religious persecution.

After having 6 million murdered in Germany for no honest reason other than racism and genocidal visionary, I think the Jewish population deserved compensation from the entire world for the persecution it was a part of AT THE WORLD'S EXPENSE.

Israel successfully established their homeland and invited Palestinians (who were already under English rule) to in peace with them. Some Palestinians accepted this, but the majority did not accept this and fled to neighboring Arab Countries (Egypt, Lebannon, Syria, etc.)

The neighboring countries (also Arabic) did not offer citizenship to the Palestinian Arabs. Evidently these nations were racist of Palestinians.

Stuck in refugee camps, the Palestinians sufferred, and out of survival, were forced to fight for the countries they lived in. Who did they fight? Israel.

Under the auspices of the countries they were refugees to, the Palestinians were brainwashed into thinking that Israel was their land. How is this possible when Palestine was never officially recognized as a country. The Cheyenne Indians never lived in a country, why should the Palestinians be given preferential treatment?

The other nations, ultimately led by Persian rule, have since considered Israel a threat. Because the Persians do not want to risk a war in their homeland, they train these refugees how to hate Israel. That is why there are so many extremists in the Middle East. Poor people can be taught anything because poor people have no hope and nothing to lose.

Wouldn't it have been so much easier if Lebannon, Syria, Egypt, had given the Palestinians a home to begin with? They are the same race: Arabs.

It's not much different than the US bombing Afghanistan to get to Al Quaeda. Or bombing Iraq to get to Saddam. Israel is bombing Lebanon to eradicate Hezbollah. I think that's a losing battle. Hezbollah is a hate group just like any other and hate will never be eradicated as long as there are ignorant people living in the universe. You can't kill 'em all!

Israel bombed funeral procession today. Some present all issue as conflict of civilisations between Muslims and West. However I never heard that Israeli people put dead people on roofs and invite griffons instead of buring dead people.

Hmmmm.... a really hard question. (actually not)

Lebanon deserves it. They refuse to hand over known Hezbollah people to Israel and to force Hezbollah to hand over the Israeli soldiers that are being held hostage (by Hezbollah).

Israel told Lebanon they wanted their soldiers back alive and/or Hezbollah people or Israel would be forced to get them.

Hezbollah then gets the "brilliant" idea to station itself in cities and attack Israel. Let's think about that one... Hezbollah is in civilian- filled neighborhoods; Israel wants their soldiers and now Hezbollah terrorists- 1+1=2. Civilians die because of Hezbollah. End of story.

i never knew two soldier boys could start a war
not to mention the war they started
this is happening because the younger generations
need to learn to hate each other all over again
and there is no better way than droping bombs on each other
to many years spent trying to stop voilance and bring peace
and not enough just killing each other
it is all about culture and haritage
these folks have hated each other for as long as we
have been writing history
so it is important for both sides to bomb each other
so they don't forget their culture and haritage.

Ita a very complicated issue but if israel is fighting against the terrorist I guess then they are doing the right thing. My only concern is they should not harm the common innocent civilians.

Gee....what about all of the crappy things that Hezbollah did to Israel? Lebanon have given aid and support to Hezbollah for years, and I suppose that Israel is just supposed to take it huh?
