all these ******* kids today make me SICK.
No individuality, no intelligence,no tact.
personally, id like to drown anyone between the age of 16 and 18.

Its more or less the emo culture with the black haired kids brushed over one side of the face and the tight jeans and tight t-shirts....kids just arnt cool anymore like I was....

So now that Ive bitched and moaned, tell me, what do you think of todays youth? are we destined for a future of know-nothing dipshits and crappy music?

and most importantly, WHAT CAN WE DO TO FIX IT!?

I can understand your flustration. Because we feel that way about grown ups.
Why do you start wars and send us to die in them while you complain how we did it?
Stupid? When you were growning up did you own a computer?
An I pod? DVD+R
Did you have instand access to information at your fingertips.
Get your facts straight. Our I Q level is ten times that of someone our age 20 years ago.
By the way you should learn how to use spell check because most of those intelligent words were misspelled.
If you drowned everyone between the ages of 16-18
Who would you send to Iraq to fight and die for you?
Remember Mr. Mental Giant We are the ones who will decide what nursing homes will be like that we send you to.
We can look around us at the world and see how intelligent grownups are. We don't even need you to show it by your stupid question. By the way all the knowledge we are gaining and how hard we study is useless. Because you intelligent adults will probably either blow up the world or polute it to death for us.
So go to hell

As a teen that has to see this almost every single day, I can say the future of America is NOT good at all, and the reason behind that would definitely be the kids I have to put up with.

Sure, the whole emo scene is expanding fast, but the 2 posses I'm worried about are the ghetto groups and the surfer groups. Both clicks show the highest dropout rates of high school, the highest failing grade rates and all they want to do is party and dance and do drugs. Well that's really more of the rap group, but the surfer groups just want to f*** each other all day long from where I'm from.

I mean I live in CT and there's no real surf-able ocean around here for at least a 6 hour drive down to Jersey and all these jocks and "Nicole Richies" as I call them wear all the Hollister and American Eagle stuff. It's just disgusting and it seems like they have nothing better to do. I mean they're not going to get anywhere and they'd say the exact thing as the impersonater of Tommy Lee said on Celebrity Deathmatch: "I was busy studying my tutor. I mean, studying WITH my tutor."

And lastly, there's really not much we can do to fix it, but only wait until the day that reality hits. They're the ones who are gonna go on Jerry Springer and the Maury show and never get a real job because they weren't accepted by any colleges they applied to. They're gonna be sorry that they wasted away high school in the way that they did.

Some kids are bored and don't see the future. Alot of unfortunate youths have parents that have no self esteem and aren't worth two cents and thrive on the government to exist without working or making some career move theirself. Kids need a mentor and someone to look up to that they can relate a common goal. If I had kids I would tell them to excel now so that they can live a better life then I did and what I put them through so that they can give a better life for their kids and themselves

I tend to agree with you. Especially working in Hollywood. Even after I consider the "adolescent factor", I get a sense that a lot of youth, at least those I encounter, don't care about or respect a damn thing. The reasons are probably too complex for me to fully address or understand. I believe the largest influence is all the communication technology available today. Cell phones with cameras and text messaging, IM services on the web, and on and on. The youth are so distracted by all this "in your face", worthless information, they wouldn't possibly even consider focusing long enough to study ANYTHING.

Around where I live, Emo kids are actaully made fun of and seen as outcasts. As for the no individuality, intelligence, etc... I kind of agree even though I am very close to being one of the people you'd like to drown. Most people I know just follow fads and want to fit in so they just do what the environment tells them to.

Most teens of this day just need a good *** woopin done by none other than a parent. I was spanked as a child and was president of everything in high school. (my down fall was a pregnancy my senior year...I'm a good mom though) Unfortunately their is nothing for you as an outsider to do to somebody Else's kids. And those emo kids that wear thrift store clothes and shaggy hair are just not grateful to their hardworking parents. They just need their allowance and insurance cut off. If they want cash they need to get a job.

I'm 29 and Canadian. Parents look too lazy to hassle seeking to instruct their kids any form of manners at present. I see it in Canadian households and the households of recent Canadians too. It does not subject, every body turns out to consider field is anybody else's drawback. Part of the limitation, is that we do not quite often reside cheek and jowl with improved household anymore. There is nobody to spell off the dad and mom. In the historic occasions, your neighbours perhaps instantaneous household (the guardian's brothers and/or sisters) so there used to be quite often anybody round who might give up a nasty mouthed child brief. This is nearly utterly long gone from ultra-modern society, and absolutely lacking for brand new Canadians, lots of whom have left every body rather then their partner in the back of. The different facet is consistency. I did not again speak my dad and mom given that I knew it might no longer be tolerated. I did not need to scan them, I already knew (older siblings), so it simply wasn't performed. Today's dad and mom handiest look to field after they think adore it, so children are consistently seeking to break out with stuff. The extra they do it, the extra exasperated and worn out the dad and mom come to be, and as a consequence the extra lax they come to be in disciplining, and the more serious the youngsters get. God inclined we study from this and transfer ahead to a larger method of elevating kids.

Is it not the youth or yester years that now run everything successfully. Youth is just that youth, free spirits. They will settle down and find theirselves. We all have a purpose. Did you ever ask these know-nothings what they like, what they want to become. If I were to judge you would I say that your hysterical fool lost in the past while existing in the future.

FYI I'm 13 and black but I see where you are going but I disagree because unlike most kids my age I was raised right so I blame the first teachers in their lives, the parents.

I agree because I sometimes want to choke the hell out of the kids my age, younger or older regardless of what happens to me.
