My family and I were in saltspring on the coast of vancouver and vancounver island and we were waiting at the ferry and the ferry was ready to load so we went on and we had the AC on at the same time and all of a sudden the AC just quit i tested it this morning and the heater doesnt work as well the heater fans dont turn either...but when i have the car running and i turn the heater on it makes like a very very quite like humming noise from behind the motor...my dad is a master technition for mercedes benz but he said check the fuze box and i did but its all ok...and i dont want to bother my father at work....any sugesstions!!!!

what it sounds like you have, is a bad armature in the blower motor. It's still tring to turn but very slowly causing your buzzing noise. Blower motor needs to be replaced.
