Oh yeah. The fact that he is probably going to prison plays a big part in it. His replacement, Joy Padgett, is no better. She slammed and smeared Terry Sanderson years ago in a campaign. He was a prisoner in Libya (?), so she found pictures of him with his captors and put them in her ads saying that he was a friend of the terrorists. Figure that one out.

Ohio has had more than one corrupt politician, or should I say more than one politician stained by corruption. Ulysses S. Grant from Ohio is considered by many historians to be the most corrupt administration in history. Warren Harding, from Ohio was president during the infamous teapot dome scandal. The Governor of Ohio, Robert Taft was charged with criminal misdemeanors for failing to report gifts.
The funny thing is all of them have been republicans. Maybe it's not his ties with JACK AbramOFF, but his ties with the Republican Party.

Absolutely...republicans need to stay away from any corruption in these elections. For the same reason the GOP has asked Katherine Harris to step down for her illegalities with a corrupt defense contractor.
