I met my current husband in 1977 when I was 12 and he was 15. His family moved shortly after we met but we kept in touch. We both married other people and I'd heard his brother had almost been killed in a wreck and called his mom. She told me it was him, not his brother and gave me his number. I was in a bad marriage and he had just divorced. He got a job offer where I live and came down in 1992. We got together in 1993, married in 1995 and just celebrated our 11 year anniversary. Unfortunately he's now disabled, but I live my life for him and my kids. It's so hard to see him get slowly worse every day but he knows I will always be there for him for anything. As long as I know he loves me, I don't care if he can't walk or has trouble holding my hand, he's there.

My love and I have known each other for 5 years. We started off as friends, the relationship developed into a more intimate one about 18 months ago.. and this past weekend He and I exchanged rings in a commitment ceremony. He is my friend, my lover, my 'husband', my partner in all things.. the one I was truly meant to share my life with.

After many years of "nice" boyfriends but no one special (bad marriage ended over a decade ago), I have finally met a wonderful man who I love very much. We've been together 15 months now.

35 years, we don't celebrate anniversary's. we don't buy each other gifts, we just do stuff for each other, and if we happen to see something we think the other will like we get it and give it to them with out a reason.
