I am a 13 year old boy. Sorry if I sound like a girl a little, my voice hasn't fully matured. I will sing Outside Looking In by Jordan Pruitt. I won't sound very good because I have only been practicing scales for 1 week and a half. Do you think I should keep singing and practicing, or should I give it up? What should I work on?

You didn't sound like a girl, and I think you've got potential, little buddy. There was a soul infused spunkiness to you. What to work on? I would say practice really hard to sing in tune by learning a little music reading and possibly getting a keyboard so you know what key you're singing in. Also, work on your levels so that they are consistent. Pretty Good!! Don't give up on your dreams. Are you in chorus in school? Take advantage of that!

You shouldn't quit just yet. You've only been practicing for a week. I don't mean to brag, but I was in Chorus for two years before my voice got to where it is now. And people tell me I have a nice voice [Sometimes I don't believe them.] So, don't quit yet. You never know how far your voice can get you. Good luck.

If you like it,then it doesn't really matter if you are good or not. Just keep practicing and it will happen! Don't give up your dream just because you are not good! Go for it!

well it's okay not PERFECT!!!!! but okay, but don't give up. First of all, nobody is perfect so don't be ashamed of yourseld, second of all, If you really like to sing don't give up, because you'll never learn to sing well. If you don't like to sing, then it's up to you wheter you want to be a quitter or not.
