American governments don't do a thing to the world, the only American government that does anything is the United Statesian one. Most Americans do approve of some of it but not everything.

No one country has added more to the worlds comfort and safety than the USA. No country had done more to reduce suffering around the globe, without compensation, than the USA. Most of europe would not exist today without the USA. Today no country would spend the blood of it's child, or it's treasure to keep the world safe, but the USA. The USA and her policies aren't purfect, but they are better than anyone else has come up with. While the rest of the world struggles with their economy, and lack of personal freedoms, the USA prospers and stands as the only hope the world has to offer. I am so proud to be an American. I am blessed by God to have been born in a country that for my entire life has led the world. While the world waits for the USA to fail, Americans go to work each day and build a better, stronger place for our selves and the world.

Americans feel proud of how we stand up to the aggressors of the world. We try to feed the world keep the sea lanes open to international commerce.
We are a nation of compassion, and if necessary dole out punishment when it's deserved. We walk softly and carry a big stick!

What our government does to the world? It is easy to look at images the press likes to show on the air and make judgements. Unfortunatly people don't watch TV or read papers for the Warm fuzzy stuff. They want death and gore and contraversy. That is what sell these days.
But we seem to forget just what Americans have given over time. Many men lost their lives and people lost fathers, brothers and husbands and sometimes mothers and wives for the cause of another countries freedom. I think a radio broadcast from Canada (not even an American!) said it best so I am including it here. (note: this is from many years ago)
This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.
Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.
When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When distant cities are hit by earthquakes, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.
The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans. I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States Dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tristar, or the Douglas DC-10? If so, why don't they fly them? Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes?
Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon — not once, but several times — and safely home again.
You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here.
When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the American who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.
I can name you 5,000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.
Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those.
I know this isn't a small sentance but it seem you were looking to find people who bash the USA for what it is doing. If this is some small play for what we are doing in The middle east I remind you WE DID NOT START IT! There is a difference in acting and reacting.

Great. We saved the world from the USSR, from Hitler, from the Japs, from the Axis of WW1, ended modern imperialism, inspired the creation of capitalism and democracy around the world. I feel great and proud.

I am proud that my government is doing everything in their power to make the world a safer place.
We have taken down terrorists and evil dictators and have increased civil rights throughout the world.
The libs can spin it how they want, but that is how I see it.

I dont know how other people feel, but I personally wrote a check to the IRS and left a note asking that 33% of the check went to Iraq to torture them and the other 66.6666666% go to the Israel/Lebanon fight. Let them split it up. Heck, let them fight over it. I want to be entertained with my money.
