ok well my fiance' called this morning & said his buddies wife called him asking all kinds of questions about her old man. instead of telling her the truth he said i dont know & i dont think so. then after they hung up he called his friends cell & got voicemail &told him to call cause he needed to get his story straight before his wife called him. well she called and checked the voicemail & heard the message & **** hit the fan between her & her old man. do you think i have anything to worry about? do you think he would lie to me or do you think he already has?

Yikes. That is a tough situation. I may be slightly concerned, but there is a big difference between lying to your signifigant other, and not wanting to rat out your best buddy. I would talk to him, and just let him know how you feel. Don't be accusing, just let him know the whole situation made you uncomfortable, and see how he reacts. Go from there.

He may not like to get involved with other peoples problems or he is a big fat lier.Better find out before you marry him.
