Some people think the chinese are ugly because they're yellow. Some think the whites are ugly because they look like they're suffering from Leukemia, especially without a tan. Some think the malays are ugly because they look tribal. At the end of the day, what do you think? Do you think you're ugly?

Are you going to go down to the standards of these superficial people and start questioning skin colour? We're not less of a human being just because of the colour of our skin. One day, it'll all rot away, and all thats left is our character and goodwill that'll be counted and judged for. Thats all that matters.

To me, an ugly person is one who cares not for others, who lives a selfish life and does harm to those around him. Thats an ugly person. Not a black man, a white man or a blue man.

whats wrong with this paranoia!jeez.just another one of those paranoid questions....look first of all.,one need to accept the self.in order to be accepted,,its HOW U VIEW THE SELF.NOT HOW OTHERS VIEW U!so what u think of the self.its reflected back ,at others,if there's a thing many ppl detest and dislike is not a skin colour,cos.most skin colours are perfectly alrt,and beautiful.but a character that goes along with that race!i've been brought up in a city.where there were,mixed races and the races,would call my skin colour as "ugly"becos am white,but i just brush it aside as ignorance,as these ppl should be called,even my black maths teacher in the 4th elementary grade,would ask the boys of other races in the class.to try and "paint"my skin brown with crayons....but i never took it to heart,and let it ,affect my or bring hate to my life,its TOTAL PARANOIA,,,,,,,,,cos its not about a skin. colour but the characteristicthe behaviour ,that goes along with that race and ethnics that counts!

I think sometimes people say ugly mean catty things to people to make themselves feel superior. Hey, we are always trying to get a tan and anything else to darken our skin. So do you really think we don't like dark skin? Or perhaps someone is just trying to make themselves feel better by insulting others. People are all different and interesting and we should just enjoy each other.

Because it is ingrained in our history as a country, and we have a long way to go to get rid of it. I agree with the poster who said that there are ugly people in every race. Speaking as a black person, do you know that there is racism between black people? But that is an entirely different conversation. It also has a lot to do with purity. "Whiteness" is seen as "clean, and pure". "Blackness" is seen as "corrupted, and dirty".

Nothing wrong with it to me. I find some of any color to be attractive. Take 10 people the exact same shade, and some will look attractive to me, some will not. The color is less then features. We all find different looks good or bad to our personal tastes. As far as racist, every human in existance is racist to some extent. Personally I find asian women to be very attractive, thats a tad racist in inself. Overt racism will exist as long as, White people think of themselves as white, black people think of themselves as black, and so on.
