Harry Potter?

Do you think Harry Potter will die in the 7th book? And does anyone know when it will be released?

Yeah, i've heard 7/7/07...just because that would be splendid timing. It's the seventh book and it is the most powerful magical number in the wizarding world...seems fitting for JK to do that huh? But alas...it isn't dependent on how well the timing is..it depends on how far along she is on the book..and she seems to be making good time.

In fact, in her interview at A Night With Harry, Carrie, and Garp, she admitted that she came up with a title in the shower that morning...she, however, didn't go any further to exploit any other details.

As for harry's life...i think he'll live. I'm kind of pointed to say likewise because you know JKR is just itching to give a reason to not write any other HP books (even though she already specifically said that the series is going to end here) but she also might kill him off just so there won't be a splurge of related material that has to do with HP characters.

BUT personally...i think Harry will live. I think the story will continue until the final showdown and neville will play a big part of it. JKR said that she worded that prophecy very carefully and why else would she say that if there wasn't another meaning behind it...a different meaning than what we think it is. I'm afraid to say that he might just die...but not harry. potter has vengence to seek.

-edit- Oh and the 5th movie is coming out on July 13th, 2007...the 6th is coming out on November 21, 2008. ;)

JKR has said that she wants it to be released on 7-7-07, but no official date has been set. It will probably be sometime next summer. I do think Harry will die. The theme of sacrifice has been repeated many times throughout the books. JKR isn't like other authors where you can easily predict what will happen. The story can change just like that. I think Harry and Voldemort will both die. I'm one of those people who think it wouldn't be that bad if Harry dies....maybe I should rephrase that.....For me, I wouldn't cry for days on end because Harry died. I think it would be sad, but it would make a really good story. There are a lot of things that could happen in book 7...we'll just have to wait (a year!) and see....

supposably it will come out on 7/7/07 but they say it might change because they say that day is used to remeber the london bombings or something. They also said i has to do with the 5th movie being released that summer too. I think Harry is going to die so no one else can continue the HP series. If you want to know more about the book go to:

I hope Harry Potter dies trying to save the world and killing Lord Voldemort. But I don't really think JK really will kill him... I mean, his parents died for him to live, so did Dumbledore and he has to live for the life Sirius couldn't live. It would be terrible if Harry dies... though I'd like it.

There's not release date yet. Some say November 2007, but there's nothing certain about that.

No release date has been set. I don't think Harry will die. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I think he'll survive.

i dont think harry will die. bcoz if she kills him there is no meaning in writing these books. bcoz the main idea of the books, ie the victory of good over evil, is not conveyed.
