my friend(who shall remain nameless) wanted to join a band , and found some guy on here that says he wants to start a band, according to him he lives close by, he says how hes in this band, who is not well known, but is signed to a label, she says he sound legit and all, but i think its a scam, but she won't listen to me. what do you think, wht should i tell her,is this belivable?

i googled him, once again theres nothing much, other than their website.
they are on "tour" right now.

Hmmm. This is a tough one, but I feel like you deserve an answer. I don't think she should meet up with someone over the internet, because you never know who someone might really be! I've met tons of idiots over the internet and on my own websites, but I don't have problems usually because I don't let them get to where they can cause me problems. There are many sites out there that talk about internet safety, and one of the best things you can do would be to tell your best friend's mom. She will probably think you're making too big a deal of it, but if her mom knows, think about it. There is no way the guy can scam her in real life.

Sounds like a pedophile pulling her in to a trap. Never believe anything until you are 100% sure. She is more of 60% sure. No one says he is telling the truth or lying. It sounds like this faker wants to get her into the real world.
