I have no favorite movie from the movie. It was awful. But I love almost every character in the ORIGINAL STAGE VERSION. So, if you're asking who my favorite character is in the stage musical, I'd have to say that's hard.
I identify with all of the characters, in some way or another, so its hard to choose my favorite character. That said, I probably like Angel and Mark the best.
I love Angel because she is so amazingly sweet. Everytime I've seen the show [and movie] I've just *sobbed* when she dies. Angel changes the lives of everyone she meets, and I wish I could be as amazing as she was.
Mark I also love because I've been where he is - I have felt like just the person who documents what's going on around them, instead of interacting.
I love all of them though! :D

Rent the movie sucked, it was a piss poor adaptation of the brilliant stage musical.
