any help for a frozen ipod that has no extended warrenty?

as a matter of fact, it is a replacement for the original but not a year old. Does anyone have a solution? Is there a way to make it work again?

Depending on the ipod, you need to do a hard reset. check the www.ipod.com/support for the specific hard reset method for your ipod.

Jus try to unplug the battery n plug it back it in after 30 seconds. That would do the trick. If u r gonna reset the whole stuff u would loose some data. So jus try this trick first n if it doesn't help try resettin it.

first plug it in to the wall
then press and hold menu and the play button at the same time for 30 seconds. It should restart itself.

Same thing happened to me about a year ago. This should do the trick.

Did u get water on it. If so u can either take it apart. Or just keep trying to use it. If that dont work hold the middle and the menu button to rebuot. Howeva u spell dat.

why did u freeze ur ipod! put it in the microwave and warm it up for like 5 seconds, or just let it sit and warm up a little and then take the battery out for like 10 seconds and then put it back in and waalaa!

It may need a new battery or if you can remove the battery and put it back in maybe it will reset.

if its nano then take apart and check the pc board fer missin wires if its just an ipod or i pod mini good luck on ebay
