Can someone tell me how to begin and what do i need besides money?

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.
I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.
Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

Once you make a profit you're in business. Visit your Secretary of State's website (your state) and search the corporate or business section for info. If you are the only person owning the business you will be a sole proprietor. If you use a name other than your last name for the business you will need to check the availability and register the name on the Sec of State website. If others invest money or contribute substantial labor they may be considered partners in ownership of the business. Always use written contracts NEVER use oral contracts -- this greatly reduces potential disputes. If you're a sole proprietor then you're taxes from the business will be included in your personal income tax. Pick up a book on business law see why lawyers are so expensive. Remember this is not everything!

First thing you need to do is get a business licence. You can get this through the business bureau in you area.
Then get organised, print up all the forms and contracts you will be needing, price lists, services, order forms etc...
Put together a portfolio or website of any work you have done or ideas you might have. Brides are going to want to see pictures! Buy some samples of products you will offer such as bomboniere and centerpieces, fabric that you will be using and so on.
ADVERTISE!!! business cards, flyers, wedding sites, brochures etc...If you don't advertise you won't have any clients!!! A good place to advertise is www.thebridalnetwork.com you can be part of the directory for free and you will still get calls.

You will need references. Most brides want to know you have experience. I would also check local collages for classes. Try even looking on line.
Then I would get in contact with florists, tux shops, limo service, photographers ect.... See if you can get any sort of brochures from them and interview them attend some of their shoots, or get references so you have a group of professionals that you can refer the bride to.
I own a floral and gift shop, I live in a small town so I help the brides line everything up and then offer deals on items they purchase in quantity such as floral packages and favors decorating supplies ect...
I also work with two consultants who refer to me and to them. It is all about marketing.
Good luck and keep researching. Also try helping a friend or family member plan a wedding. You can offer free services for experience.

I believe something reliable could be high-quality for a brand new trade. "Bridal Sparkle Innovations" sounds lovely well truthfully. You need contacts in the industries you will need to work with (caterers, florists, venues, djs, musicians, etc) and good references in the form of friends who let you make them your guinea pig. You'll have to do a few for free or reduced price first and take some good pictures to show of your work. You'll also need nice clothes because how you look will be a reflection of how you will work. Dress for success!
