Lets say my boyfriends name is *Ben.*Bens mom lives away from where i live she tries to controll *Bens life she dosnt want him to live with his dad here and so she dosnt let him talk to me on the phone and that stinks!I love ben and if i leave a message on the phone what can i say?How do i get him to come back?

Is that the real reason, or is she just being over protective, you need to ask her why she is keeping the two of you apart....if you are under 18 you need to respect the answer that she gives you, if you are over 18, then just calmly tell her that you are in love with her son and that you wish for the two of you to have a fullfilling relationship, but cannot do so due to the distance.....be honest with her, she will respect you for that, and you may make a lifelong friend in the mean time. If she doesnt then just let it go for now, he will pull his life together eventually and then you can start again, just dont take everything other people say for gospel ok, she may not be as you imagine and there could be underlying factors that you dont know about, that are causing her to be this way. Look at both sides of the story.

You don't get him to come back. If his mother is raising him she gets to call all the shots not you. Are YOU prepared to support "Ben" financially? Are YOU a responsible adult? If you can't say yes to either one of those questions then you just have to suck up and deal with the fact that she is his mother and you're not.

Can you call and talk to his dad? If Ben comes and visits his dad then you will be able to see him. Try waiting and Ben will call you when he can. Can you email or IM him? Good luck to you.

He is still a minor living with mom and/or sometimes dad? You should leave him alone. Wait until he is old enough to come back to you without being scared of him mom throwing him out. If he loves you, he will look for you.

it's kinda obvious that you like *ben*. however you didn't say anything about his behaveour in your regard.. did *ben* ever call you since he moved away? did he ever email you?? surely he must be able to contact you at some point when his mom will not be around..

If he's under 18 then it's between him and his parents, not you. Just try to be supportive of him, no matter what he decides and focus on your studies.
