This does not refer to men in general; rather, these preferences are on an individual basis. While I'd agree that it's biological for men to be attracted to beautiful women (though the definition of beautiful is also defined differently for each person and is impacted by society’s views), not all men prefer "dumb" women. In fact, unintelligent women repel many men.
Generally, all people find others attractive who have symmetrical features because is a universal determinant of health and therefore of beauty. Even a plastic surgeon would tell you that asymmetry is typically something very difficult, if not impossible, to fix. Of course, that’s not the only factor, or else only beautiful people would fall in love.
Basically, we are all pre-disposed to have "love maps" that tell us what to like, most of which are environmentally based on an individual's experiences. For example, if women who were ignorant always praised an individual, that person would probably have a predisposition to preferring that type of women.

The choice of a mate is solely the attraction of the parties involved...hence, if you choose beautiful women who are dumb per se (and not that this is a general statement, but specific for you), then you can be sure it is two-fold. You may perhaps be shallow, depending on the definitive "beauty" here, and you look for someone that you can easily dominate. This generally stems from a low self-esteem, or an egocentric attitude.

By nature, men like to be in control, but be forewarned, just because a woman is beautiful doesn't mean she's dumb. Did you ever think that it's just a front? Did you ever stop to think that she's just acting dumb to get the best of you?
