not really. I drive a Cadillac Deville and a chevy Blazer 4 by 4. I'm single so I'm the only one driving. I live about a mile from work. KFC, Taco Johns, Goodtime burgers, a gas station for sodies, a grocerey store, and a cleaners are all within 2 blocks from my house. The only time I notice gas prices is when I'm Planning a trip but the cadi gets around 25 mpg so its not bad. I think I'll start to notice around 5 bucks a gallon.

It has effected me. Now, instead of going in to work overtime on days that I am off...I just stay at work all day and half the night to get the overtime in. Why do I even need the overtime? I think the 200% gas increase answers that one!

Oh, I also buy gas once a week when I go to visit my sister. Its about $.50 less per gallon in her area.

I try to make all of my trips at one time. If i forget something at home that I need for a task, I just do it on another day when I am near whatever place it is that I need to be - again!

I also use Marvel Mystery Oil in every full tank of gas - it does add a few miles to each gallon.

Sometimes I complain about it, but really it doesn't affect me hardly at all. So I have to throw in another five bucks to get half a tank of gas. Not a big deal. I just get mad that the government can tax it so high, and then turn around and investigate oil companies for the prices. Just like tobacco companies. They aren't the bad guys. It's our retarded government.

Yes! I drive slower, since the fuel usage seems to rise exponentially the faster you drive. I shop less often by stocking up on more food. I rarely eat out since retiring - no change there. Fewer trips to laundromat.

Yes I do less business as I am in the car wash business. The more they spend on gas than the less the spend on washes and waxes.
