Hiroshima was not the first choice, weather on the original town **** was overcast and the bombardier could not make out it's destinationn, so the pilot then set off for Hiroshima, the alternative destinatio.
Nagasaki was a military complex city.

"Remember, it took two bombs to make Japan surrender, and the head of their entire air force led a kamikaze squadron against the Bismark"
The Bismark as a German ship, sank by the British 3 years before the end of the war.
"but turned around when they learned that the emperor was on board"
The Japanese Emperor NEVER set foot on the Bismark, in fact the Bismark never left the North Atlantic.
"We did have eleven more"
The US had two bombs and used them both, there were no more bombs or even material to make more bombs. There was the one blown up in the United Statesian dessert but that was a testing device, and it happened BEFORE the ones dropped over Japan.
"especially since the fire-bombing of both Kyoto"
Kyoto came out of WWII unscathed, there never was a single bomb raid over that city.
Man Alive! this man makes up history as he goes along.... lol

Because both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were major industrial centers for Japan's war effort. Also, they were cities closer and more critical to the landing site on Japan if it came to a ground war. Remember, it took two bombs to make Japan surrender, and the head of their entire air force led a kamikaze squadron against the Bismark, but turned around when they learned that the emperor was on board (he was not originally supposed to be the one to surrender the sword).
Striking Kyoto and Tokyo had less military value. The two that were dropped were our most powerful. We did have eleven more, but they were smaller nukes. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were more critical targets, especially since the fire-bombing of both Kyoto and Tokyo had already reduced them greatly (and killed more people than the nukes did).
