i like lieberman but he has made the mistake that lbj made supporting a failed war. lieberman like lbj has fought for social issues and progressive policy. but the support of war overshadows those accomplishments.

no, he won't be able to win

he might even pull enough votes from Lamont to keep him from winning as well

There isn't a liberal out there that can remember any of the ways that Joe Lieberman stood up for a lot of the failed democrat policies, stood up there with that stiff oaf Al Gore and had to put up with being second fiddle to that loser. Now democrats want to dump Joe because he showed some backbone and actually got something right once. That's why they are dumping him - because being right about something, especially as important as something as the war on terror, has no place in the democrat party...

He might make a difference in the race running as an independent... Maybe he could split the liberals and make for a Republican Senator being elected... wouldn't that be sweet revenge for all those liberals who know nothing about loyalty and standing up for what is right?

It's hard to say, the press here has Leiberman as a loser but I think a lot of that is coming from the West Coast $$ who wants him out. Some of his decisions I dont agree with, I esp dont agree with the war or Bush, but I REALLY dont like Ned Lamont, I think he is a poseur and I cannot believe he's a democrat. I think this is so critical because it's probably going to determine the outcome of the war in the long run

yeah, he completely could, and that i guess that he will win. Republicans have not got any good applicants, and there are greater Independants in that state than the two dems or republicans, so he can greater suitable than probable nonetheless win, probable even by applying a majority. needless to say he's a considerable republican, even however he disagrees with them in very virtually all cases different than for the conflict. And anybody who says they're against the conflict without theory of the thank you to get out of that is purely a fool. each and every person is against the conflict, yet some human beings experience that there is a element to it. i'm kinda on the fence approximately it, yet i'm unlikely to blindly say that the finished element is misguided.

Nope. And his loss is well deserved. ANYBODY in politics using a 'god' or their own personal 'religion' to justify their doings should be disqualified by a UN like body.

Mix enough Liebermans & Osamas and you'll have WW III. How about sending them to the center of Jerusalem and let them play chess for it? Live broadcast with plenty of commercials to pay off the loser to lay down arms. The winner can stay in dusty 'Religious Central' and practicse whatever behooves them. And let the rest of the world sleep in peace.

Hope not.Liberman is for the war because he stupidly thinks "god" is for the war.So much for any moral character if kissing Bush's cheek is his real answer.
I think as a CT Jew he is careful on social issues, and not totally lost
on all common sense, but as president? His voice and appearance make me sick to my stomach.
